For a limited time, Coles supermarkets will be selling the classic Bulla Choc Tops in all Australian stores.

As movie cinemas have been closed for months due to the COVID-19 crisis, the release of the treats has been received well by thousands of customers online. 

The choc tops are available in six different flavours. – boysenberry, mint, salted caramel, vanilla, cookies and cream, and chocolate fudge – until June 9 and are priced at $4 each or four for $10.

The partnership between Bulla and Coles arose to help shoppers recreate a cinema setting at home. 

‘The Choc Top is synonymous with cinema outings and as Australia eagerly awaits their return, we are still working closely with our cinema partners to ensure there is plenty of product to supply once they are open again to the public,’ said Bulla CEO, Allan Hood.

Coles CMO Lisa Ronson said: ‘Home movie nights across Australia will get a major boost with this cinema classic and we know our customers will be very excited to add the delicious treat to their shopping list while they wait to get back to their favourite movie theatres.’

And customers are already raving over the new release, as multiple social media users shared their excitement online.

‘We need to buy some!!’ one woman said and tagged a friend in a post online.

‘So excited! I’m going to buy some, these are awesome,’ another said.

‘I can’t find boysenberry anywhere in Melbourne,’ a third woman commented, but only certain flavours are stocked at particular store locations.

All Bulla Choc Tops will be available to purchase nationally while stock lasts. 

On Facebook, certain independent IGA store locations in Victoria also said they have a limited amount of the choc tops too.
