Aintree racegoers have pulled out all the fashion stops for the final day of the Grand National Festival.
The annual event – which got underway in Liverpool on Thursday- is expected to be attended by over 150,000 people this year.
After the festival got off to a boozy start, revellers were back in their finest for another afternoon at the races today.
Feathers were all the rage with today’s group of guests – with several fashionistas opting for outfits with statement cuffs.

As well as killer heels, thigh-skimming dresses and plunging necklines, the event is famous for its display of flamboyant headgear.
This year’s Grand National Festival draws to a close today, with the final race taking place at 6.20pm.
Earlier today, a woman was arrested in connection to eco activists from Animal Rising gathering at Aintree Racecourse, who vowed their ‘biggest action yet’ at the Grand National.
The militant animal rights group said up to 300 activists will flood the course in Liverpool and that they intend to prevent the main race at 5:15pm from starting.
Police said the 33-year-old, from London, was detained in Greater Manchester on suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance in connection with potential co-ordinated disruption activities at Aintree.
Last night Animal Rising said ‘It’s time to rise up and demand animal justice, for all life’ and said they will be ‘taking direct action to protect the horses’. They also plan to block traffic by performing a slow march.
A spokesperson for the group said the activists will be ‘peacefully attempting’ to climb over fences and walls with the intention of making their way on to the track.
