‘Katherine Langford in Cabaret omg’.

‘Wow so many good cast’.

‘I adore how completely random this is’.

Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, which first opened in the West End in late 2021, is directed by Rebecca Frecknall.

The musical takes place in Berlin in the 1930’s during the rise of the Nazis and the Jazz Age’s twilight.

The show follows the nightlife at the Kit Kat Club, a seedy nightclub that serves as a sanctuary for artists, performers, and outsiders.

The story follows American writer Cliff Bradshaw as he arrives in Berlin to find inspiration for his novel and becomes involved with the club’s denizens.

Katherine and Adam will remain with the West End production for 18 weeks until January 25, 2025.

The stars follow in the footsteps of Cara Delevingne, who starred as Sally earlier this year and Eddie Redmayne, who performed as The Emcee in the Cabaret in 2021.

It comes after Katherine told Stellar Magazine in 2020 her breakthrough role in 13 Reasons Why was ‘the worst, but greatest, first role’ in preparing her for the spotlight.

‘In many ways it was the worst, but also the greatest, first role to have. The reactions afterwards were, and will always be, really special to me,’ Katherine explained.

The star, who had no prior acting experience, received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for her role in the controversial teen drama.

Katherine played American high school student Hannah Baker, who committed suicide after struggling to fit into her environment and a battle with mental health.

She went on to reveal to the magazine that fame has changed how people perceive her.

‘What I realised is that it didn’t change me, but rather how people saw me,’ she said.
