Caitlyn Jenner makes offer to Donald Trump after election win

Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner wants to serve in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, and she’s offering a heavy dose of flattery to help make her case.

‘Hope is back in America,’ Jenner wrote on X alongside a photo of herself, Trump, his granddaughter Kai, and billionaire donor Elon Musk. ‘These two men will single-handedly save western civilization and that starts with a strong United States of America.’

Having portrayed Trump and one of his staunchest allies as the saviors to more than a billion people, Jenner moved in to close the deal.

‘I am here and at your service and forever indebted to your sacrifice for this country,’ Jenner wrote. ‘Let’s Make America Great Again!’

An outspoken Republican, Jenner has publicly described herself as socially liberal and has advocated for same-sex marriage. However, she has also opposed any abortion later than six weeks, which may have harmed her 2021 run in the California gubernatorial recall election.

Ultimately Jenner finished 13th with just 75,215 votes.

Despite Jenner’s pro-Trump stance, many social media users portraying themselves as conservatives attacked her for being transgender.

‘Keep gender ideology out of government,’ self-described trans-exclusionary Sall Grover wrote in response.

‘I love Caitlyn Jenner,’ wrote one respondent, who is pictured wearing a MAGA hat in his profile photo. ‘She is such a great guy.’

Conservative film producer Stew Peters added: ‘Leadership takes balls. I hope theirs are as big as yours.’

‘If you want to give women hope: stop pretending you are one of us, Bruce,’ one critic from Australia wrote.

One person who included ‘white pride’ in their X bio claimed Jenner’s mere presence in the conservative movement is a problem.

‘If a trans person is finding hope in this movement then it’s a movement I don’t want to be a part of,’ they wrote.

Jenner did receive some support. For instance, one person wrote: ‘beautiful message and great photo!’

But the vast majority of responses directed anti-trans vitriol at the legendary decathlete.

‘Stay out of the ladies room,’ one woman wrote.

‘You will never be a real woman,’ added another.
