Incredible footage from the Glen Garriff conservation in Harrismith captured King Daniel the lion sneezing

The magnificent lion isn’t at all upset by the proximity of the camera, calmly licking his lips as he looks out over the conversation.

The cameraman can be heard expressing his awe at the creature from behind the lens. He said: ‘You beautiful lion.’

But that’s not to say he isn’t curious by the intrusion, and he takes a moment to investigate the lens – pushing his nose against the glass.

King Daniel then turns his attention back to his surroundings, purring loudly at the view.

He then turns to the camera and gives out a loud sneeze.

The clip was posted to the Glan Garriff Facebook page yesterday – one of many up-close videos the conservation post of their 72-strong pride.
