There are few women who don’t suffer from under eye hollows whether from ageing, sleepless nights or just an unhealthy lifestyle.
But a pioneering treatment claims to banish so-called ‘tear troughs’ for good in the space of just 30 minutes.
The £400 treatment uses micro-injections of a long-lasting filler called Perfectcha along the line of the hollow to create volume and is said to last up to 12 months.
Fed up of living with unsightly dark hollows under her eyes, office worker Neola Pejda, 26, from York decided to try it out for herself.
Perfectha, a new type of hyaluronic dermal filler uses E Brid technology, resulting in minimal swelling and bruising after treatment.
Neola, who was sick of living with tear troughs, enlisted the help of Dr Saleena Zimri from Skin Doctor Clinics who used Perfectha dermal filler to correct the hollows under her eyes
Before the procedure Neola lacked in confidence, and felt she looked constantly tired, with her skin making her appear far older than her 26 years.
She told MailOnline FEMAIL: ‘I think I must have inherited [the circles] somewhere along the line as I’d always had them since being quite young.
‘I always looked tired and run down, despite getting plenty of sleep and I genuinely think they made a massive difference to my appearance.’
She enlisted the help of Dr Saleena Zimri from Skin Doctor Clinics who used Perfectha dermal filler to correct the hollows under her eyes.
Dr Saleena has recently started using a cannula rather than a needle to administer the filler, which she says reduces bruising and swelling.

Neola has had the treatment twice so far and plans to have it again, with the office worker ‘delighted’ that it made her look more awake and she doesn’t need to use as much concealer.
‘The procedure was pretty quick and painless – Dr Saleena made some marks in the areas where she was going to put the filler, then it was just a case of a few injections and it was done.
‘I could see the results straight away and they were amazing.
‘I know some people experience a bit of bruising after but mine was very minimal and there were no other after effects to speak of.
‘I was booked in after two-weeks for a check up and top up if it was needed.’
Dr Saleena told MailOnline: ‘Tear trough rejuvenation is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment for patients with dark circles or deep hollows under the eyes (also referred to as ‘tear troughs’).
‘The “One Point Tier Trough” treatment offers fantastic results because of the combination of treatment technique and the specific dermal filler used.
‘Perfectha dermal filler is administered to each trough using only a single entry point with a cannula, rather than the traditional multiple entry points with a sharp needle.
‘Perfectha dermal filler, offers a naturally soft result and while using a cannula reduces significantly any potential bruising and swelling. Traditional tear trough treatment techniques can result in bruising that lasts up to two weeks.’
