One of the world’s most venomous snakes has been spotted against a wall in Melbourne by an eagle-eyed serpent catcher.
Moorabool Shire councillor Jarrod Bingham, who is also a snake catcher, posted a photo of the deadly eastern brown snake slithering outside a factory in Melton.
He asked his 1500 followers if they could see where the snakes were, or ‘better yet who can tell me the species’.

Although it is difficult to see, on closer inspection the snake can be seen poking its head outside a rock wall and onto the street.
Mr Bingham told 7 News there was another larger snake further up the wall.
‘Removing the snakes unfortunately is a very difficult task when they are in these rock walls,’ he said.
