A new frustrating new puzzle is challenging the web to spot the pencil hidden somewhere among these colourful novels.
With the busy image, commissioned by Exam Papers Plus, made up of a minimal colour palette, the minuscule pencil almost impossible to spot.
The record time for finding the hidden item is just 19 seconds according to its creators – so can you spot it any quicker?

For those in need of a hint the pencil is the same shade of green as the books in the illustration.
And eagle eyed players should be able to spot it towards the centre, right of the image.
This is just the latest in a long line of brainteasers to leave the web baffled.
Last week a challenging puzzle asked netizens to find seven buffalos hidden in a photo of London’s skyline.
They are spread throughout the image and you’ll have to use your eagle-eyed observation skills to find each buffalo wandering among some of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks, including Big Ben and Tower Bridge.

Uploading the puzzle to their page, the dance website wrote: ‘We love a good puzzle and it’s been a little while since we created one of our own. So we’ve put together this quick brain-teaser for a weekday morning.
‘Hidden in the sea of watermelons in the photo below (there’s a sentence we never thought we’d write) is a tutu skirt.’
They added: ‘Speed is everything. The fastest in the team at Dancewear Central HQ picked it out in an impressive 8 seconds.’

‘One clue we can offer is that although the twins are indeed identical, they don’t look exactly alike – you’ll see why when you spot them.’
