Candice Warner reveals the reason she’s DONE with having children

‘No more kids!’ Candice Warner reveals the reason she’s DONE having children with husband David Warner… as the former Ironwoman continues to impress on SAS Australia

She’s a proud mother to three gorgeous little girls.

But on Friday, Candice Warner revealed why she’s done with expanding her brood, and is happier than ever being mum to daughters Ivy Mae, six, Indi Rae, four, and 16-month old Isla Rose.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the wife of cricket star David Warner confirmed: ‘No more kids.

‘I always thought that I would like four but now having three and being on my own, it has its challenges and I don’t want to get to the point where I take my exhaustion or frustration out on my kids.’

The 35-year-old added that her husband David’s busy schedule makes it even more difficult to raise their three children, adding that ‘being a mum isn’t easy’.

The former Ironwoman has faced a difficult time during her stint on SAS Australia, after she was ruthlessly interrogated about her husband’s infamous ball-tapering scandal in 2018 during the first week.

She sensationally denied her husband was involved in the scandal – despite the fact he received a 12-month ban and was subsequently identified by Cricket Australia as the ‘mastermind’ of the plot.

Following the tense scenes, her husband publicly threw his support behind Candice in a post online.

‘I am proud to call you my wife @Candywarner1,’ David wrote on Instagram Stories, alongside a screenshot of Candice being interrogated by ex-Special Forces soldiers Ant Middleton and Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox on the show.

Speaking during the interrogation, Candice said: ‘When we came home from south Africa in 2018 when there was an incident with the Australian cricket team, there was a ball tampering incident.’

The interrogator asked: ‘He tampered the ball? Or supposedly tampered the ball?’

Candice snapped: ‘No. That’s other people’s opinion. He’s never said he’s part [of it].’

The former athlete was brought to the verge of tears as she admitted that while she has a supportive husband in David, she does much of the emotional labour in her family.

‘I do [have a supportive husband]. But I feel like I’m the one who supports. I support everyone. It gives me great pleasure doing everything for my husband and my kids,’ she said, fighting back tears.

SAS Australia continues Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Seven
