Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin both hit the scales exactly on the middleweight limit of 160 lbs in front of 9,000 fans ahead of their huge fight on in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Canelo defied doubts about whether he might struggle to make the weight but he looked heftier than multiple world middleweight champion.

He said to Govolkin: ‘I’m going to knock you out.’ Golovkin replied: ‘see you tomorrow night.’
