The Canterbury Bulldogs star and his glamorous partner shared the good news to Instagram on Saturday.

In the clip, Christy surprised her husband with a positive pregnancy test before the delighted pair embraced.

She then showed off several positive tests, before sharing the announcement with their families.

‘Baby King coming 2024,’ Christy wrote in her caption alongside her sweet video, in which she showed off her baby bump while holding up a set of ultrasound images.

In October, the Bulldogs prop and his new bride, both 25, exchanged vows at Curzon Hall, one of the premier wedding and event venues in Sydney, surrounded by family and friends.

Christy looked every inch the blushing bride in a sleeveless, modern design that featured a structured bodice and full skirt with a thigh-high split.

The brunette beauty wore her hair centre-parted for her big day, and added to her look with statement drop earrings.

Meanwhile, Max looked dapper in a classic black suit paired with a white shirt and black bow tie.

Christy made quite the entrance on the day, arriving at her wedding in a white stretch limousine.

The couple, who are both Christians, famously abstained from sex during their engagement.

‘We are so loud and proud about our faith… it’s never been something we’ve shied away from because it is so important to us,’ Christy told 2DayFM’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin show in March.

‘We spoke about it (remaining celibate) early on… on the first or second date.

‘Christian dating 101 is you’re not wasting anyone’s time, it’s a conversation we didn’t shy away from and honestly we’ve seen such fruit from it in our relationship in terms of communication… it’s just so good.’

Young laughed as she described being set up with King by their pastor, and believes the pair remaining celibate has certainly helped his game on the footy field.

‘We met at church. I was living on the Gold Coast and he was sitting in front of me… we didn’t talk that day but the pastor set us up. If you want a good guy, find him in church,’ she laughed.

‘When it (sex) isn’t the forefront of everything, it’s like we’ve just been able to have such good conversations and build on our relationship, and we have such a good support system for each other.

‘It (celibacy) does help his game, in that it’s just that we have such a good foundation in our relationship.’

Young also admitted she was once hesitant about their relationship given King’s profession.

‘When I met him I was like, “oh you’re a footy player, red flag, what have I got myself into,”‘ she said.

‘For sure [his teammates are supportive]… but when we first started dating they were like, “as if you guys are” [abstaining from sex].

‘The bible says, “deny the flesh and God will bless you”, and we’ve seen such fruit from that.

‘I feel so blessed to have met Max… we are the puzzle pieces that fit together and it’s all down to God,’ said the glamorous model.
