Car maker Dacia creates collection of ‘new car smells’

If you are sniffy about the budget marque Dacia, here’s the sweet-smelling antidote.

Partnered with award-winning perfumer 4160 Tuesdays, it has created a collection of ‘new car smells’ inspired by the most popular British road trips as judged in a poll of 2,000 motorists.

Top spots went to Scotland’s North Coast 500 (68 per cent); The Coastal Way, Wales (50 per cent), Dorset’s Jurassic Coast (40 per cent); Cheddar Gorge, Somerset (38 per cent) and Causeway Coastal Route, Northern Ireland (37 per cent).

The ‘Scent-sational Highlands’ perfume, referencing the North Coast 500, combines earth and sea with pine trees and wild raspberries.
