Cara Delevingne ‘interviews members of the queer community at iconic LBGTQ+ pub Royal Vauxhall Tavern for her new show Planet Sex’

Cara Delevingne has reportedly been seen interviewing regulars at the iconic Royal Vauxhall Tavern pub, as she steps into her latest acting role in new show Planet Sex. 

Sources claim that filming took place for the new programme, which will be shown on BBC Three, at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern – one of London’s oldest and most treasured venues.

The 29-year-old model – who is openly bisexual – has previously been spotted enjoying a boozy night out at the inclusive pub

Cara was reportedly seen interviewing regulars in the pub as part of her six-part investigation into human sexuality.

An insider revealed to The Mirror: ‘It celebrates drag kings as well as drag queens and makes a huge effort to increase visibility for some of the most marginalised individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. 

‘Cara was thrilled to visit such an iconic venue in a professional capacity and learn more about its history as she’s had a few nights out there herself in the past.

‘Since landing the presenting gig, which is somewhat out of her comfort zone, Cara has been learning more about those who are playing with gender as part of their art and performances. 

The Suicide Squad star added: ‘It’s inspired her to incorporate more gender-bending elements into her own work. She might even be getting into drag herself.’

The natural beauty looked in high spirits in the snap as she cosied into him and put her hand on his chest. 

They posted the picture to the pub’s social media and captioned it: ‘Look who popped in last night for@barwot, new friend of the tavern @caradelevigne – pictured with guv’nor James.’

The RVT is where Princess Diana famously partied with Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in the 80s.

Cara also recently scored a series regular role as Alice, a sophisticated art world insider who becomes enmeshed in a mystery, in the second season of the hit Hulu show. 

‘It’s definitely most like me than any other character I have ever played, but with some more daring looks, for sure,’ Delevingne told ELLE via email last month.

‘Selena is a very special friend, and it’s been so fun to get to work with her for the first time. Well, actually, second time. She actually hired me when I had just become a model, and she had designed a clothing line.    

 ‘We have known each other a long time. And, of course, working with Steve Martin and Martin Short is like a master class in comedy. I feel so lucky to get the opportunity.’

Season two of the Upper West Side-set comedy will also introduce new characters played by Oscar winner Shirley MacLaine, Emmy winner Amy Schumer, and Grammy nominee Michael Rapaport.
