Cara Delevingne wows in Burberry’s LGBTQ collection at LFW

She has almost a decade of modelling work under her belt after being signed to Storm Model Management in 2009.

So of course Cara Delevingne strutted her stuff with confidence to showcase Burberry’s latest LGBTQ-inspired collection for LFW on Saturday.

The supermodel, 25, was impossible to miss when she stormed the catwalk in a colourful coat with clashing stripes in scarlet, tangerine, emerald green, sapphire blue and canary yellow.

Waving the LGBTQ flag! Supermodel Cara Delevingne burst onto the catwalk in a vibrant colourful coat for Burberry’s inspired collection at LFW, in London on Saturday

Model Cara held the edges of the rainbow coat as if she was waving the garment like a flag to celebrate LGBTQ when she glided down the runway.

Under the striking jacket, the model-turn-movie star donned a loose fitted white top and wide-legged trousers in white to ensure the focus was on the focal garment.

Lights were dimmed on the catwalk to make sure the fashion-goers eyes were fixated on the mesmerising coat.

The Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets went braless in the mesh top which teased a glimpse at some serious skin in the cutaway design.

Cara looked amazing as she proudly showcased her striking features on the catwalk, enhanced with deftly touches of make-up and framed with her edgy pixie cut.

Chief creative officer Christopher Bailey wanted to do something special for his final show with its LGBTQ-inspired collection at the fashion powerhouse.

‘The rainbow, a symbol of inclusiveness and joy, is celebrated throughout the February 2018 collection,’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘My final collection here at Burberry is dedicated to and in support of – some of the best and brightest organisations supporting LGBTQ+ youth around the world. There has never been a more important time to say that in our diversity lies our strength, and our creativity.’
