Rapper Cardi B accused a white New York police officer of putting her in a choke hold in a series of tweets on Tuesday.

The Bodak Yellow singer slammed cops in her hometown of New York on social media on Tuesday, before deleting the tweets shortly thereafter.

‘I can’t believe this cop put me on a choke hole just now s*** is crazy these NY cops don’t know how to do they job F*** 12 [sic],’ the 24-year-old who grew up in the Bronx wrote.

When one fan asked if the police officer was white, Cardi B tweeted back: ‘YEUP HE WAS [sic].’

The tweets quickly gained traction, with the first being liked nearly 2,000 times before being deleted from her page.

An NYPD spokesperson told The Mirror that they had ‘no record or any other information to support the validity’ of Cardi B’s claim.

MailOnline has reached out to Cardi B’s reps but has yet to receive a response.

This isn’t the first time Cardi B has spoken out about police officers.

Last month, the rapper voiced her support for Colin Kaepernick in his fight against police brutality, saying: ‘As long as you kneel with us, we’re gonna be standing for you.’

In June 2016, before a concert in Houston, she spoke out on social media about police presence in Texas.

‘My concert is in Houston today I will be in Dallas Sunday,’ she wrote. ‘Stop telling me to be safe. Its [sic] not the people killin people is the cops.’

Her tweets on Tuesday came just as she dropped the remix to Bodak Yellow with Kodak Black.

Bodak Yellow is Cardi B’s most famous song yet, and was even adopted by Janet Jackson earlier this month.

Fans are now anxiously awaiting her debut album on Atlantic Records.

Cardi B. said she’s nervous because there’s ‘a lot of pressure on’ her after the success of ‘Bodak Yellow,’ which is currently No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, just under Taylor Swift’s comeback hit ‘Look What You Made Me Do.’

‘Everybody’s waiting to see what I’m going to have next and it’s like, ‘…I hope people love it,” she added. ‘But I have confidence. I really do.’

‘Bodak Yellow’ has become a No. 1 hit on both the R&B and rap charts, and is one of the year’s most streamed songs.

The New York-born rapper, who first gained attention on Instagram, appeared on the VH1 reality show ‘Love & Hip Hop’ before the Bodak Yellow’s massive success.

The song has helped her become one of the few solo female acts to launch a major hit on the pop charts, which has recently been dominated by male performers for the last two years.

‘It feels amazing and it’s overwhelming. It’s like, it fills me up with lot of happiness and a lot of joy,’ she said. ‘It’s just like unbelievable. I’ve been through so many things and I worked so hard for me to be here, and it’s like I’m finally here getting what I wanted, (and getting) the respect from other artists and from everybody.’
