Cardi B and husband Offset team up for major McDonald’s ad for the Super Bowl… after filming it around Christmas time

Cardi B and her husband Offset have signed on to a significant ad campaign with a major company, McDonald’s.

The 30-year-old WAP rapper and the Migos member, 31, worked together on a commercial for the iconic fast food brand to air during the Super Bowl, TMZ reported on Tuesday.

The duo were apparently trying to keep the ad under wraps, as they filmed it with a modest crew, but the outlet reports that it is an ambitious commercial intended to grab major attention during the massive sports event.

Sources added that the ad will focus on the couple’s love for each other to fit a Valentine’s Day theme.

The Super Bowl will be on Sunday, February 12, two days before Valentine’s Day, so it should be ideal timing for both events.

The ad will reportedly focus solely on the couple, without any of their children being involved.

Cardi and Offset made the unusual decision to film the ad around Christmas time,  but it was apparently the best time for their schedules.

They reportedly decided it would be ideal to shoot then, as most stars take a break from their work and business obligations around the holiday.

Shooting around Christmas time may have also given the two the ability to shoot the video under the radar to save the surprise for its Super Bowl premiere.

During that fun ad, the Bodak Yellow rapper shared her ‘okurrr’ catch phrase with diners and soda fans at Los Angeles’ popular Pann’s coffee shop and diner.
