Cardi B responds to ‘queer baiting’ accusations after release of ultra sexy Wild Side music video with Normani
Cardi B slammed an article accusing her of ‘queerbaiting,’ after the release of her and Normani’s steamy new music video for Wild Side last week.
In response to the term, which describes the phenomena of straight artists hinting act same sex attraction in an effort to court an LGBTQ audience, the 28-year-old rapper reminded the world she is openly bisexual on Friday.
‘Uuummmm @RollingStone queer baiting? You do know we was trying to hide a whole baby bump right?
‘Also I’m married to a man but I have express soo much about my bisexuality and my experiences with girls,’ she fired on social media via Twitter.

In a subsequent tweet, the mother-of-one, 28, wrote: ‘I don’t like this new ‘queer baiting’ word.
‘I feel like it pressure artist to talk about their sexuality or their experiences that they don’t feel comfortable speaking about.’
‘If an artist [kisses] a girl on a video does that means she gotta show videos & text [with] other women?’ the Grammy-winning artist added.
The raunchy music video for the track features the two musicians dancing nude on a circular platform, with long hair covering their modesty as they hung onto chain coming down from the ceiling.

In 2018 after receiving backlash for her collaboration with Rita Ora on the track Girls, Cardi B tweeted that she has been ‘with a lot of’ women.
At the time, many members of the LGBTQIA community expressed that the song is ‘tone-deaf’ when it comes to same-sex relationships.
The song was denounced for its questionable lyrics, with Ora referencing her own bisexuality, saying ‘I’m 50-50 and I’m never going to hide it.’
Cardi – real name Belcalis Almanzar – was quick to admit some of her shortcomings when it comes to appropriate vocabulary.
‘I know i have use words before that i wasn’t aware that they are offensive to the LGBT community,’ she admitted on Twitter. ‘I apologize for that.’
‘Not everybody know the correct ‘terms’ to use,’ she continued. ‘I learned and i stopped using it.’
