Pink’s husband Carey Hart, 43, has hit back after fans criticised the couple for exposing others to their one-year-old son Jameson’s hand, foot, and mouth disease while touring in Australia.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, motocross rider Carey shared a photo of little Jameson riding around in a toy car, along with the tongue-in-cheek caption: ‘Jameson and I out infecting the world [crying emoji]’.
He completed the post with an equally facetious hashtag that read: ‘Pediatrician says he is good but I will take your word.’

Fans flooded the post with messages of support, with one writing: ‘ You just keeping being awesome parents, only you guys know what’s best for your bubbas. Stuff those keyboard warriors!’
Another concurred: ‘Him being out and about will make him and everyone else’s immune systems stronger. SMART DAD! #oldschoolisalwaysbetter.’
Carey has never been shy to reveal the less-than-glamorous side of touring with his wife and two young children.

‘Wanna know how glamorous tour can be? Jameson has hand, foot, and mouth; and willow has a 102 temp. Both kids laid up and mama still has to push through and do shows…,’ he wrote next to the confronting image.
‘I had Jameson at breakfast yesterday and this vile woman at the table next to us kept staring at him with a sh**y look on her face. I told her it was bed bugs’.

Backlash: While many fans issued well-wishes for the children, Carey also became the target of vitriol when critics accused him of risking exposing the virus to others by taking Jameson to a public place

One comment, which was screenshot by People before it was deleted, read: ‘Pink I love you but why would you take him to breakfast looking like that? … People don’t know what is going on for all they know he has something contagious so it’s only human to be grossed out or at least concerned.’

Heartfelt: Pink’s children are often a focus on stage, after she famously paid emotional tribute to Willow at the MTV VMAs last year. She accepted her Video Vanguard Award by sharing a story about body image and the challenges of raising a young girl (pictured in July)
Hart hit back with: ‘Are you serious???? You are what’s wrong with this judgmental world.’
He also responded to another fan who took umbrage with his decision, writing: ‘What’s your point? You think I let my kids eat off other people’s plates?
Hand-foot-and-mouth disease, or HFMD, is a virus most common in children under age 10, and often under age five.
According to the Mayo Clinic, it is characterized by sores in the mouth and a rash on the hands and feet. The illness is usually accompanied by a fever that lasts a few days and mild symptoms such as a sore throat, rash and loss of appetite.
It can be passed through the air or coming into close contact with a person who hasn’t washed their hands after using the bathroom.
Children build up antibodies to the virus as they get older and the immune systems of adults are typically strong enough to prevent the virus from infecting them.
Jameson and Willow’s illnesses come after Pink was struck down with a gastric virus earlier this month in Australia.
Pink was admitted to Sydney’s St. Vincent’s Hospital on Sunday August 5, suffering from dehydration. She was treated and discharged.
She was then readmitted to hospital the next day, having been diagnosed with a gastric virus, and remained overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery.
Pink was then discharged from hospital the following day.

Pink recalled how Willow had told her, ‘I’m the ugliest girl I know’ before adding that she thought she looked ‘like a boy with long hair.’
But the singer countered by telling her adorable daughter, ‘you’re beautiful’ along with some sage advice.
‘When people make fun of me they say I look like a boy or I’m too masculine or I’m too outspoken. Do you see me growing my hair? Do you see me changing my body? Do you see my selling out arenas all over the world?’
She went on to add: ‘Baby girl, we don’t change. We take the gravel in the shell and make a pearl. We help other people to change, so they can see all kinds of beauty.’
Pink ended her impassioned speech with a message to her daughter, who was in the audience: ‘And you my darling girl are beautiful and I love you.’
