Having a Good Time! Carly Rae Jepsen and her new musician beau Cole MGN look smitten as they do the famous Sydney Harbour BridgeClimb on a sweltering hot day

Carly Rae Jepsen enjoyed some tourist activities with her boyfriend Cole MGN on Tuesday before taking to the stage in Sydney to play her mega hits.

The Canadian singer looked loved-up with her producer beau as the couple did the famous Sydney Harbour BridgeClimb.

On the day, which saw temperatures reach up to 30C, the pair wore blue and grey protective jumpsuits as they were harnessed to the edge of the bridge.

The Call Me Maybe songstress tied her bleached blonde locks back into a ponytail before starting the high and scary climb.

The couple looked slightly nervous as they took on either the ultimate summit – which includes a climb of 1,621 stairs and takes three and a half hours – or the summit of the lower arch, which is 1,002 steps and takes two and a half hours.

The 37-year-old recently arrived Down Under for her The So Nice tour, which sold out dates in both Sydney and Melbourne.

She took to the stage at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday night and will play a second show in the venue on Wednesday night.

The Good Time singer will then head to Brisbane on Thursday to play at The Tivoli before performing two shows at the Forum Melbourne.

Speaking to Harpers Bazaar Australia before her upcoming Australian tour, Carly said she was ‘so nervous’ that the crowd at her The So Nice tour would only know her hit single Call Me Maybe.

However, she said that’s not the case- and her newer albums are getting the most love.

‘I was so nervous…like, are they just gonna know us for that song, will anyone have listened to Emotion or will they have heard Dedicated?’ she said.

‘It’s not that we don’t ever play it [Call Me Maybe], but it doesn’t feel like the focus anymore … It’s just a really nice nostalgic moment in my set, to be honest.’

The singer added that she was ‘extra excited’ to come back to Australia and see how fans Down Under have reacted to her newest album, The Loneliest Time.

‘It makes me extra excited to come back and sort of see how they’ve taken on too,’ she said.
