Carolina Panthers make huge call over quarterback Bryce Young for the 2025 season

The Carolina Panthers plan to give Bryce Young a chance to be the team’s starter of the future after his recent on-field improvements.

Young figures into the team’s future plans as a franchise quarterback with how much growth he has shown during his second stint of the season as the signal caller.

The former top overall pick was benched after Week 2 in favor of 37-year-old Andy Dalton.

After an injury to Dalton, Young was reinserted as the starter, and has gone 2-2.

The Panthers are confident enough in Young that the team has no plans to draft a quarterback in 2025 in the higher rounds, per NFL Network.

What a turnaround that is for Young, who was thought to be left behind after September’s benching.

The Panthers have not done much this season to get their status as one of the NFL’s worst teams removed.

However, Carolina has made moved to not be widely regarded as solely the league’s worst franchise.

Young’s first season as the Panthers’ quarterback did not go as planned, with a 2-15 record inspiring little confidence.

Heading into Week 13, Carolina has already improved on that mark at 3-8.

Now Young gets to show just how much he has grown in the final six weeks of the regular season with Panthers’ management behind him.
