Carrie Bickmore reveals the extremely painful injury she suffered at the Logie Awards…and blames it on singer Amy Shark

She may’ve shone in the fashion department at the 2024 Logie Awards, but it seems Carrie Bickmore did not escape the glittering event unscathed.

The media personality, 43, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to reveal the eye-watering injury she sustained during television’s night of nights.

Carrie posted a photo that showed her standing in what appeared to be a chemist.

Holding her thumb to the camera, Carrie’s perfectly manicured thumbnail appeared to have been partially ripped from the nail bed.

The nail also sported a hefty split in the middle with evidence that it had been bleeding.

While there was no clue as to how she sustained the injury, Carrie was pretty sure she had nailed down the culprit as none other than Australian Idol judge Amy Shark.

‘Amy Shark I blame you,’ Carrie cryptically captioned the picture.

Posting the same image to her Instagram grid, her fans were quick to wish Carrie well after her awards show malady.

‘If ever there was a photo where you can feel the pain through it, this is it,’ one commenter observed.

Another chimed in with a similar: ‘Ouch feel your pain! Have done this so many times times.’

Some helpful fans were quick to offer their own remedies such as: ‘Teabag and superglue = bandage protection until it grows out. File down when you can. You’ll be right.’

Carrie put on a very leggy display as she arrived at the 2024 Logie Awards on Sunday in a one-shouldered black dress which boasted a sky-high thigh split.

The Hit Network star flaunted her toned pins in the flesh-baring frock which also featured a racy cut out which stretched down her chest.

Carrie added a pair of towering, strappy black heels with metallic rose accents across the front.

She opted for gold with stacks of chunky bangles down her arms and a number of fine rings.

The star chose a warm toned makeup look with a dark pink matte lipstick and wore her blonde locks down in waves.

Carrie added a pair of earrings to her ensemble, as well as a necklace, and kept her purse out of the way.

The blonde worked her angles on the red carpet, showing off her toned figure in the slinky gown.
