Carrie Bickmore’s FHM photo shoot from early in her career resurfaces

Carrie Bickmore’s racy FHM magazine spread from the start of her career resurfaces as she admits the photo shoot made her ‘so uncomfortable’

An uncharacteristically racy photo of The Project host Carrie Bickmore posing in lingerie was unearthed this week by her colleagues at the Hit Network.

The now-41-year-old had stripped down for men’s magazine FHM back in 2002 when the publication’s readers voted her the 98th hottest woman in Australia.

Carrie was 21 and just starting her career as a newsreader at Nova FM when she posed in a black bra and silver earrings for the now-defunct lads’ mag.

The future Gold Logie winner stared seductively at the camera while lying on a bearskin rug, which she said was ‘so uncomfortable’.

The photo shoot was tracked down by Eli, one of the producers of the Carrie and Tommy radio show, who posted it on Instagram.

Carrie wasn’t exactly thrilled about the image resurfacing, commenting underneath the post: ‘You are dead, Eli.’

It comes after Carrie revealed on Wednesday she wasn’t a natural blonde.

She confessed on The Project that her blonde hair was in fact dyed after she started prematurely going grey.

The mother of three made the admission while talking about a Canadian TV newsreader who was allegedly sacked for ‘going grey’.

‘I am fully grey under here,’ Carrie told her co-hosts Waleed Aly and Peter Helliar.

Waleed then asked why she doesn’t just ‘got for it’ and allow herself to go fully grey, and Carrie admitted she ‘quite likes dyeing’ her hair.

She was previously the spokeswoman for hair-dye company Garnier.
