The working script which Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher used for her role as Princess Leia in the Empire Strikes Back has emerged for sale.
The unique personal script contains over 1,000 notes hand written by Fisher, who died aged 60 in December last year, to help her act out her role in the 1980 film.
It is accompanied by the three leather bound scripts for the Star Wars trilogy that were given to the actress, and signed by director George Lucas.

Acring it out: Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford are seen as Princess Leia and Han Solo in The Star Wars Episode V – Empire Strikes Back, filmed in 1980
Together, the four items are tipped to sell for £115,000 at auction later this month.
Fisher’s very own Empire Strikes Back is littered with notes and instructions, and every page of ‘Leia’ dialogue was annotated by her in pencil, with an underlying message being conveyed.
For example, during a scene in which Leia has a heated exchange with Harrison Ford’s character Han Solo in which she urges him to stay with the Rebellion she wrote notes on how she should act.
She wrote words like ‘don’t physicalize or raise voice’, ‘I don’t mind that you’re not bright. The cause is bigger than one person’, ‘I hope we will meet again and I also hope that by then you will have grown up a little’.
The scene in question involved Leia chasing after Han Solo as they evacuated the Rebellion base on the planet of Hoth. Her plea for him to stay with her was arrogantly construed by Solo as a sign of her love for him.

Changes: the title page for the first film gives the name of ‘The Adventures of Luke Starkiller as taken from the ‘Journal of the Whills’, later changed to ‘Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope’
The 158-page document is expected to sell for £40,000.
The three other scripts – one from each film in the trilogy – are bound with burgundy covers.
Most interestingly, the title page for the first film gives the name of ‘The Adventures of Luke Starkiller as taken from the ‘Journal of the Whills’. This was later changed to ‘Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope.
The bound script for the Empire Strikes Back is inscribed by George Lucas in black ink with the words ‘To Carrie May the force be with you. George’.
The script for the third film in the saga ‘Return of the Jedi’ also gives a different title, with the name of the film listed as ‘Revenge of the Jedi’.
Tragedy: The late Carrie Fisher is pictured during a book signing one month before her death
Gifts: Also on sale are three leather bound scripts for the Star Wars trilogy that were given to the actress, and signed by director George Lucas
The three scripts are estimated to sell for £25,000 each.
The scripts are part of a wider sale of personal items belonging to Fisher and her actress mother Debbie Reynolds, who both died in December of last year.
The auction is being conducted by US-based Profiles in History Auctions.
Brian Chanes, of Profiles in History said: ‘These items really are incredibly rare.
‘The working script from Empire Strikes Back especially, is an extraordinarily important artefact.
‘It comes from what is regarded by critics and fans as being the best film in the Star Wars franchise and it contains over 1,000 words in Fisher’s hand which has never been seen before.’
The sale takes place on October 9.
