The 35-year-old wife of Mike Fisher also told the hosts it was not ‘intentional’ to over-hype a big reveal of her face on the CMAs Sunday; fans have been complaining that she pushed a Frankenstein face but when she walked on stage she looked flawless.

And when Carrie was asked why she was so nervous at Sunday’s CMAs, she said: ‘I was nervous about music first and foremost. We wanted things to be about the song that night. I didn’t want to just talk about my accident the whole time.’
Underwood also said that for months she was unsure what to think of her injury. ‘Back when I injured myself, you don’t know how things will turn out. When you’re in it, it’s stitches and all that good stuff. We put a memo out to the fan club because I thought someone is going to catch me at the Kroger and they’ll be like what’s going on.’
She added her husband of eight years, hockey star Mike Fisher, did help her out but she was not a good patient. ‘I am really terrible about letting anyone help me with anything,’ said the pinup.
