Boris Johnson’s wife Carrie has expertly hidden her growing baby bump with a series of clever styling tricks, a stylist has revealed.
The mother-of-two, 35, shared the happy news that she is pregnant with the couple’s third child on Instagram this afternoon.
‘New team member arriving in just a few weeks,’ she wrote alongside a sweet photo of Wilf, three, and one-year-old Romy.
Opening up about her third pregnancy, Carrie told her 65,000 followers: ‘I’ve felt pretty exhausted for much of the last 8 months but we can’t wait to meet this little one.
‘Wilf is v excited about being a big brother again and has been chattering about it nonstop. Don’t think Romy has a clue what’s coming… She soon will!’

Although Carrie is well into her third trimester, the mother-of-two relied on her faultless wardrobe to keep her pregnancy a secret.
Speaking to FEMAIL, stylist Rochelle White explained how Carrie’s recent looks have been more ‘low key and relaxed’ than the outfits she wore while Boris was still in Number 10.
During her last pregnancy with the couple’s daughter Romy, the mother favoured bold prints – but has instead opted for darker shades this time round which have disguised her changing figure.
In March, Carrie and Boris attended a campaign launch in Westminster to prevent the early release of Robert Brown – who bludgeoned his 46-year-old wife Joanna to death in 2010.
Carrie – who spoke of her spoke of her battle for black cab rapist John Worboys to remain in prison – was dressed in a navy button-down coat dress with a white shirt poking out from underneath.
Rochelle said: ‘She has been strategic in what she has worn, loose fitting pieces, some even oversized to how she has positioned herself in photos
‘Her colour palette has been quite dark in tones which again is a good way to conceal a baby bump.
‘This coat is a shape and design that is great for most body types and being slightly oversized, Carrie could layer outfits or wear fully buttoned up and no one could know [about her bump].

Rochelle noted: ‘The pictures have been strategically taken with only the top half of her showing or the full body in a concealing position. Her style is classic and relaxed which I feel is a theme she likes to stick to’
‘The dark colour doesn’t draw attention to the outfit or catches eyes and I feel that has been her main thing in all her current garment choices.’
Later that month, Carrie posted some photos of the family’s visit to a wildlife reserve to celebrate her 35th birthday.
For the occasion, the expectant mother wore a wool camel coat over a printed maxi dress – which carefully disguised her growing bump.
Rochelle commented: ‘With the outfit, she has cleverly layered her look. From what I can see she has on another loosely fitting dress, that covers her knees and a well fitted oversized coat.
‘Even in the images shared, they have been strategically taken with only the top half of her showing or the full body in a concealing position. Her style is classic and relaxed which I feel is a theme she likes to stick to.’
In April, Carrie jetted out to South Carolina with her family and shared a series of photos of her glamorous outfits.

Posting on her Instagram Stories, the former PM’s wife shared a mirror selfie which showed her posing in a floaty white tiered button-down dress by Carole Bamford.
Tagging the designer, she captioned the post: ‘The perfect, throw-on holiday dress.’
Embracing her natural curls, Carrie finished off her look with a simple gold pendant necklace and burgundy sliders.
Next, Carrie also posted a photo of herself enjoying some time with her children in the pool.
Opting for a glamourous ensemble, Carrie rocked a hot pink swimsuit which she paired with a gold star chain and heart-shaped tortoiseshell sunglasses.
She is beaming with delight and seen helping an excitable Wilfred leap into the water.

Explaining how the soon-to-be mother-of-three had carefully hidden her pregnancy in these images, Rochelle said: ‘Looking at Carrie’s style during her surprise third pregnancy, I feel she has kept herself very low key and relaxed and I feel that is reflected in her recent holiday snaps.
‘She has kept the images of herself limited with the position of her back to front facing.’
Earlier this month, Carrie attended the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla with her husband – and donned a blue maxi dress with a navy jacket with gold buttons.
Rochelle said Carrie purposefully picked this outerwear to disguise her baby bump.
The stylist commented: ‘I feel that she knows her body shape well and worn this dress because she knew she could get away hiding it.
‘She knew that this would be a good outfit that wouldn’t show too much, especially with an added jacket.’
However, Carrie did drop a subtle clue about her pregnancy at the Coronation – as she had previously worn the dress to the Conservative Party conference when she was expecting Romy in 2021.
The couple already share two children – Wilfred, who was born in April 2020, and Romy, who was born in December 2021.
Romy was born at University College London Hospital and was named after Carrie’s aunt Rosemary.
When announcing their daughter’s name, Boris and Carrie explained how Iris came from the Greek word meaning rainbow and Charlotte was chosen as a tribute for Mr Johnson’s late mother, who they ‘miss so much’.
When announcing she was pregnant with Romy, Carrie revealed she had suffered a miscarriage earlier in 2021 and described her as her ‘rainbow baby’.
Boris will now become a father of eight, having had two children with Carrie, four children with his second wife Marina Wheeler and at least one from an affair.
His children with Ms Wheeler are all in their 20s – Lara Lettice is 29, Milo Arthur is 27, Cassia Peaches is 25 and Theodore Apollo is 23.
