A cat theft has stolen items including knickers and left them at the end of a man’s bed inside his house.
Ed Williams was confronted by his partner about the underwear but was let off the hook when he discovered Mo the cat had been stealing it from neighbours in Auckland, New Zealand.
Mr Williams told the NZ Herald Focus he did not have an explanation at first for the pair of knickers at the end of his bed and a big bra on the back step.

‘It was only after a couple of weeks that we actually saw him come across the road with a T-shirt in his mouth, that we realised it was Mo,’ Mr Williams told the publication.
Luckily, when he made this discovery, he had the perfect answer for his partner.
The clothes stolen by the cat includes socks, men’s underwear, women’s underwear and T-shirts.
The cat is normally friendly during the day and acts as the perfect house pet, before he goes on his fishing expedition at night.
A bra was among the clothing stolen, Ed Williams had to explain this to his girlfriend
In one week the cat stole a box worth of stuff with up to 30 or 40 pieces of clothing.
Mr Williams routinely returns the clothing to his neighbours, who are so far taking the the cats bad habits well.
‘If anyone is watching this and they are missing some clothing from Mount Eden, please come and see me, more than likely I will have them,’ Mr Williams said.
