Cate Blanchett, 48, shows off style at Louis Vuitton PFW

Paris Fashion Week is fast coming to flawless finish.

Yet the stars are ensuring they are still pulling out all the stops, as Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Connelly and Julianne Moore led the way at the Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday evening – each showing off their age-defying good looks.

The 48-year-old Blue Jasmine star opted for a bizarre military style ensemble with a leather jacket in an armour style while her fellow Hollywood heavyweights looked incredible in risque looks, complete with thigh-skimming hemlines and flawless beauty looks.

With the much-anticipated Chanel show hitting the runway earlier in the day, the stars were undoubtedly eager to further get their fashion fill – leading to the stunning Louis Vuitton showcase later on Tuesday.

While Jennifer and Julianne opted for saucy ensembles with bare legs, Cate was veering towards an edgier style which covered her slender physique yet made a bold statement all the same.

The leather jacket boasted shapely shoulder pads and a contrasting material on the arms with a volumunious shape, while she kept things simple on the bottom half in slightly flared black trousers.

Atop her bizarre getup, she wore her blonde bobbed hair in a slicked back style with the sides slicked down for a wet look while the slightly quiffed top gave an androgynous feel to the look.

Jennifer meanwhile was feeling saucy as she rocked leather shorts with a patterned top and a tailored white blazer while her endless legs were a statement all alone.

In a nod to the French fashion house, she toted a stunning Louis Vuitton handbag complete with the brand’s instantly recognisable monogram and a two tone of brown hues.

Her smouldering smokey eye make-up added to the stunning feel of the look, with her jet black tresses and deep eye pallete standing out against her ageless, alabaster complexion.

Flame-haired stunner Julianne looked incredible in her green mini – with the emerald shade perfectly suiting her pale complexion and trademark brightly coloured hair.
