CBB: Shane Lynch finishes in THIRD place

Shane Lynch, Jess Impiazzi and Wayne Sleep have all fallen at the last hurdle during the Celebrity Big Brother final on Friday night – leaving Courtney Act and Ann Widdecombe to battle it out.

Narrowly missing out on the final two was Boyzone star Shane, 41, who looked undeniably handsome in a slick three-piece grey suit and red tie as he exited the mansion.

‘Three is a number of my life that I like, so it’s good for me,’ the inked star spoke of this third place win in a chat with stunning host Emma Willis, 41, shortly after.

Shane, who was noted as being one of the more quieter housemates, proved to be in high spirits as he told Emma the final was turning out how he expected it to: ‘I think, from what I’ve witnessed from being in the house myself, it was certainly a great shoot out between Ann and Courtney.

‘I was hoping that was going to be the case [that they would be the final two]’ he continued.

Emma then asked him if he expected to win, given his huge Boyzone fanbase, and he replied: ‘The Boyzone supporters, they’ve always been there. 25 years of love, absolute love from all those guys which is much appreciated.

‘I really do [think its the right final two]. I would have felt like I robbed somebody of a place, I do think they’re two far greater housemates who should be there, for sure,’ he continued.

Speaking of his more reserved nature in the house, the tattooed singer revealed:’I spoke a lot to people individually, I just didn’t repeat myself in stories so therefore, you either showed the story or you didn’t and that’s it.

‘When I spoke about something, it was spoke about and I didn’t [keep going on about it]. I love to listen. When you listen and you hear people and what they have to say, and the housemates are from so many different walks of life. I’ve learned a lot myself. Knowledge received,’ he stated.

Shortly before Shane, Jess Impiazzi was given the boot and left the mansion in fourth place during the tense final on Friday night.

Clad in a stunning semi-sheer animal print dress, the Ex On The Beach star proved to be overwhelmed as she exited the mansion.

The reality star – who was never put up for eviction and was never nominated, told Emma: ‘I am flabbergasted. It’s such a wonderful feeling inside my tummy!’

Courtney is allegedly the front runner to win the current season of CBB, which comes to a climax on Friday night.

According to bookies, she is ‘the hottest CBB fave in the show’s history’.

Betway’s Alan Alger, said: ‘We took plenty of bets at 6/1, 5/1 and 4/1 in the opening week and those punters look to be sitting on a very nice profit with odds for Courtney to go all the way now just 2/5.

‘Ann Widdecombe definitely has her supporters and is 2/1 to upset Shane J’s party, but it looks as though the ex-politician will have to settle for second.’
