Celebrations chocolates have been pulled from the shelves across Australia, leaving shoppers disappointed ahead of Christmas.
The popular chocolate boxes which included bite-sized Mar Bars, Snickers, Twix, and other family favourites, is a much-loved festive-season staple.
But, according to parent company Mars-Wrigley, supplying the box of treats to Australians has become too expensive, and a logistical nightmare.
‘Our CELEBRATIONS® products were imported from Europe and like many Australian businesses importing products from overseas, we are experiencing rising cost-pressures and supply challenges,’ a spokesperson told FEMAIL.
The chocolate boxes are already missing from the shelves of major supermarkets and marked as ‘currently unavailable’ online.
Foodie Russ Stuart, who does reviews under the name Russ Eats, was disappointed when he found out the news.
He said an insider let him know celebrations had been discontinued ‘at least for this year’.
‘This really upsets me to be honest,’ he said.

‘Are Celebrations dead?’
The foodie ranked Celebrations first in the ‘best Christmas choccies’ rankings earlier this year.
His followers were devastated by the news.
‘Won’t be a Christmas without Celebrations,’ one person complained.
‘Say it’s not true Russ. You’re normally my outlet for good food reviews and news. You ruining my Christmas wasn’t on the bingo card this year,’ said another.
Entrepreneurial shoppers who stockpiled the products are taking advantage of the situation.
‘I saw one packet listed on Ebay for $193,’ one fan said.
However, they are available on Amazon for an eyewatering $99.
The Mars-Wrigley spokesperson told FEMAIL the company is working out ways to make the chocolates available again in the future.
‘We know CELEBRATIONS® is a much-loved brand that plays a role at many family gatherings, events and of course, celebrations.
‘Therefore we are currently reviewing options to reintroduce CELEBRATIONS® in 2025. We hope to have positive news to share with Australian consumers over the coming months,’ they said.
This confirmed some of Russ’ fans speculations.
‘Best marketing play of the year. You watch them comeback December 1,’ one man said.
