Celtic have been fined €19,000 (£16,000) by UEFA owing to the conduct of some of their fans during their Champions League match at Manchester City in December.
The governing body announced the sanctions on Friday morning, saying the charges were related to the setting-off of fireworks in the away end at the Etihad Stadium.
UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body imposed the penalty on the Scottish champions.

Fighting had also broken out between supporters in the 73rd minute of the Champions League clash, which finished as a 1-1 draw, but it was snuffed out by a heavy security presence on the night.
A fan had been arrested earlier in the day in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens for throwing a burger at a police horse.

Celtic went ahead on the night through on-loan City youngster Patrick Roberts before conceding an equaliser to Kelechi Iheanacho just four minutes later.
The two side had earlier drawn the reverse fixture 3-3 in Glasgow but Celtic finished bottom of the Champions League group, which also contained Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach.
The fine follows a similar incident in February 2016 when they were given a fine of more than £10,000 after supporters set off fireworks in the Europa League match against Fenerbahce in Turkey.
