Moorgate and Liverpool Street tube stations have been put into lockdown following a reported bomb threat.
Police have arrived on the scene with sniffer dogs and cordoned off streets in the area.
It comes less than a week after the Parsons Green underground bombing in west London that left 22 people injured.

Police have confirmed that they are investigating a suspicious package in the area.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said in a statement: ‘We are currently in attendance at Wilson Street (EC2) following a report of a suspicious package in the area.
‘This was first reported to us at 9.52am on Wednesday and we are currently investigating.
‘Cordons have been put in place at the junctions of Moorgate and South Place, Eldon Street and Blomfield Street, and Wilson Street and South Street.
‘We would advise members of the public to avoid the area.’
Police have arrived on the scene with sniffer dogs as cordons have been put in place around the stations
