Cesc Fabregas has hilariously let his 9.9million Twitter followers know that he isn’t best pleased at the prospect of playing in the Europa League next season.
The midfielder finally allowed the competition’s official Twitter account to follow him after playing European football at it’s highest level for the past 15 years.
As Chelsea gear up for their second appearance in the competition in six years, it will be Fabregas’ first time in the Europa League and he struggled to hide his disappointment on social media.

The midfielder circled his latest Twitter follower in a screenshot with the caption: ‘It took them 15 years but finally I allowed them to follow me.’
It didn’t take long for the banter to flow from rivals fans as one Tottenham supporter told him to move to a ‘bigger club’ – a reference to Fabregas joking that Harry Kane should move away from Spurs.
The 31-year-old quickly replied to the fan by telling him ‘no way mate cheers’ followed by a illness emoji.

After enjoying Champions League football with Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea, Fabregas could face the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Anderlecht and Ukrainian minnows Vorskla in the Europa League after Chelsea’s disastrous league campaign last season.
The Blues finished five points out the Champions League places in fifth and still face uncertainties ahead of the new season.
