Jamie Kah’s incredible racing comeback could be in doubt, with Racing Victoria stewards to review controversial images and footage that emerged of the star jockey appearing to cut a mysterious white powder.
Just a day after following Kah made a declaration of resuming her racing career, damning photographs began making the rounds within the racing industry via WhatsApp.
Kah was sedated and hospitalised in critical condition following a high-speed fall during Super Saturday at Flemington in March.
News Corp has reported that the images depict Kah in the company of her close friend and housemate, Jacob Biddell, a reputable greyhound trainer.
Dressed in a grey robe, Kah is shown sporting manicured white nails, her hand resting on her cheek while offering a smile to the camera with Biddell.

In another photograph, Kah’s hand, adorned with the same manicured nails and dressed in the grey jumper, is captured using a plastic card to divide a mound of white powder upon the plate seen in the initial image.
Accompanying video footage has now emerged, further corroborating the claims.
Additionally, in close proximity to the plate on the same marble kitchen surface, a small bag containing white powder and a vape device can be observed.

However the emergence of these controversial images has cast a shadow over Kah’s highly anticipated return to horse racing following a harrowing accident that led to hospitalisation for a brain bleed and memory loss. .
Kah expressed disappointment that News Corp had published the story and remained focused on her return from injury.
‘I am determined to focus on my health and recovery following my race fall in March which left me with a serious brain injury and being in hospital for three weeks,’ she posted.
‘I am working hard to get back to what I love, and that is being a passionate and successful jockey.’
‘I will continue to focus on my physical and mental health and making a full recovery so that I can return to racing and be the best person that I can possibly be.
‘I won’t be making any further comment.’

Racing Victoria chief steward Robert Cram told The Age they had seen the images.
‘We are aware of the photos and we are investigating,’ he said.
Despite a three-month absence from the racing scene, Kah maintains her dominance in the Melbourne jockeys premiership with an impressive lead of seven wins, standing at a remarkable 59 wins for the season.
She recently obtained her restricted licence to resume track work.
‘I can ride pretty much as much as I want at the moment, but I’m just trying to look after myself at the moment, if I’m tired don’t go to work,’ Kah told Seven.
‘I have to do one more balance neuro test … and when I test that I can do jump out and races. Hopefully that is only a few weeks away.
‘At the moment I just happy to be back on a horse.’
