The swimming superstar hinted it was challenging being ‘everywhere for everybody’. ‘I think it has been a pretty interesting time just trying to just prioritise, health, kids, my partner Desiree,’ he said.

The former world-record holder recently claimed that raising children is harder work than being an elite athlete.

Of his hectic schedule, Michael candidly told Yahoo Be: ‘Being a parent and a business owner and doing normal life is harder than anything in sport.’

Earlier this month, he said that ‘trying to have the best form of communication with your ex-partner does help a tot and it’s not always easy’.
