Champions League last 16: Fixtures, top scorer and more

The UEFA Champions League is back this coming week and promises to be very exciting. Premier League and European clubs go face-to-face in the last 16 to fight for a spot in the quarter-finals, which commence on Tuesday, April 3.

Five Premier League sides have made it to this stage for the very first time which consists of Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United. However, Chelsea will face Barcelona and Spurs’ will face Juventus making their Champions League progression slightly more difficult.

When’s the Champions League quarter-final draw?

The quarter-final draw will take place at Nyon on Friday, March 16 2018, two days after the last Champions League round of 16 matches.

It will be an open draw meaning no teams are seeded and clubs of the same national association can be drawn against each other. The side drawn first gets the home advantage in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
