Channel Nine star shares post from 2024 Paris Olympics hinting at ‘trouble’ between his ‘work wife’ Allison Langdon and his real wife

Channel Nine’s James Bracey has jokingly hinted at trouble brewing between his ‘work wife’ Allison Langdon and his real wife Margot.

The sports presenter, 39, took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday to reveal the moment his co-host Allison, 45, met his wife Margot in Paris.

He joked at ‘trouble’ between the pair in the tongue-in-cheek post as he shared a snap of them in the Channel Nine studio in Paris for the 2024 Olympics.

As the pair set front and centre on the panel, James quipped in a caption: ‘Work wife+real wife=Le trouble.’

James is best known for presenting the sport on Nine News Sydney from Sunday to Thursday, after taking over from Cameron Williams in 2022.

But he has been busy in Paris over the past few weeks fronting coverage for the 2024 Olympic Games with the Nine presenting team.

James has been making the most of the trip as his wife Margot – who he shares kids Tilly and Abby with – has joined him in France, jetting over from their Sydney home.

He has joined the likes of Ally, who is married to Michael Willesee Jr, Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo in the French capital to report on all the latest action.

It comes after Karl, 49, recently caused a stir by boldly branding the French as ‘rude, pompous and weird sexually’ while in Paris covering the Olympics.

‘The French are weirdos. The French are complete weirdos. We all know that,’ he told The Kyle and Jackie O Show. ‘They’re kind of a weird nation, sexually.’

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson then asked Karl if he has attempted to speak French with the locals, to which the presenter provided a curt reply.

‘Do you know what? I’ve stopped trying. I don’t really like them that much,’ he said.

‘They’re so rude. Oh, they’re really up themselves… they’re pompous. They do a good burger though. I do like the burgers and stuff over here.’

However, Eddie McGuire – who is also currently in Paris – strongly disagreed with Karl’s scathing review as he insisted his viewpoint is quite the opposite.

‘Love the vibe, people have been great, wonderful food, drivers have been hospitable,’ he told Adelaide Now.

‘Can’t wait to get to the end so I can have some magnificent French wine. Shops, landmarks, history, fashion (is) inspirational,’ he continued.

‘Wonderful Rodin and Picasso exhibitions, shops and fashion totally wonderful.

‘The games have been inspirational and aspirational. It’s everything I hoped the Paris would be. Love it, Love Paris, Viva La France.’
