Today Show star Sarah Albo will make her hosting debut for Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on December 24.
She will joining co-host singer and presenter David Campbell, who will also be performing at the much loved annual event which will be broadcast live by Channel Nine.
The stellar line-up of entertainment for the charity show includes pop star G Flip, Australian music legend Paul Kelly and ex-Wiggle and ARIA award winner Emma Watkins, who will be performing under her new stage name Emma Memma.
‘I’m excited to be joining David as the host of Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight,’ Sarah said following Nine’s announcement.
‘I have such fond memories of watching and attending Carols as a child, and I am thrilled to be able to play a role in one of Australia’s most loved Christmas Eve traditions.’

Australian World Music Star, Mitch Tambo will also feature, and will perform a special arrangement of a beloved Christmas carol.
Also included in the stellar line-up of performers will be fan favourites Marcia Hines and Patti Newton.
The cast of Grease the Musical will be hitting the stage for the festive fun, alongside guest performers Bowen * Young.
Returning to perform will be operatic singer David Hobson, Phantom of the Opera stage star Marina Prior and Candles by Candlelight favourites Silvie Paladino and Denis Walter.

Meanwhile, Australian-born West End superstar Simon Gleeson will be joined by his daughter Molly for a special performance.
The joyous annual event aims is a fundraiser for Vision Australia’s with all profits going toward supporting 2000 families with vision impaired children.
Tickets for the much-loved Christmas show are now on sale at at the event website.
Channel Nine and 9Now will broadcast Carols by Candlelight from 8.00pm on December 24.
