Channing Tatum calls future father-in-law Lenny Kravitz ‘pops’ – as Magic Mike star smooches Zoe at Blink Twice photocall

Channing Tatum threw some love in the direction of his future father-in-law, rock god Lenny Kravitz.

The Magic Mike star, 44, shared a photo of Lenny, 60,  performing to his Instagram Story on Friday and captioned the post: ‘Let’s go pops!!!’

And the love goes both ways as Lenny gushed over his daughter Zoë Kravitz’s partner – who called the Little Fires Everywhere star the love of his life – during an appearance on the Zoë Ball and Friends podcast where he called his daughter’s fiancé a ‘good guy.’

‘He was raised well. So, you know, he’s got manners. He’s charming. He’s a soulful human being. And so, he’s become part of the family quite quickly,’ Lenny said back in June.

‘He fits and they’re in love. We’re going to have a wedding next year,’ the proud dad added.

This isn’t the first time Channing has heaped public praise on the Let Love Rule rocker.

Earlier this year, the 21 Jump Street actor commented on a photo Lenny shared on Instagram.

In the snap, the Fly Away singer wore a pair of jeans and stood in front of a tree with rolling hills in the background.

His flawless, chiseled torso was on full – and delectable – display. He captioned the post, ‘Standing in love and gratitude.’

Channing humorously commented; ‘Jesus Christmas Lenny wtf you’re gonna hurt someone on this platform. Hahaha.’

Channing’s hype of Lenny comes after he and Zoë packed on the PDAs on the red carpet of the London premiere of her directorial debut Blink Twice.

And despite Lenny’s assertion that a wedding is happening next year, his daughter set the record straight in an interview with Esquire.

‘It’s literally something we’ve said in passing,’ she explained to the outlet. ‘Like, maybe I said, ‘Next year would be cool.’

In the same interview, Zoë opened up about whether or not she wanted kids with Channing, saying, ‘There’s a lot of pressure on women to have children, and there’s a feeling that if you don’t, you don’t have a purpose here.’

‘For a long time, I felt like there was something wrong with me. I was waiting for this light to go off in my head, and it never did.

‘When you’re younger, you’re like, “Well, I can’t have kids. I’m too young! It’d be crazy.”

‘But then one day, you aren’t too young anymore,’ she continued. ‘And it wouldn’t be crazy. I had to actually look at What do I want?’
