It was reported earlier this month that Channing Tatum has been cast in spy thriller Red Shirt but now it has been revealed that he will be compensated handsomely for it.
The 42-year-old actor will earn a whopping $25million from Amazon for starring and producing the spy thriller according to a Tuesday report from The Hollywood Reporter.
The publication claims that the studio has put up more than $50million just to the key creative talent behind the project which THR reports is ‘one of the highest, if not the highest, in Hollywood dealmaking history for an original pitch.’

David Leitch is directing the film as he will reportedly making $18million.
Simon Kinberg wrote the film as it is claimed that he will become one of the highest paid screenwriters around at a whopping $6million for writing the film but will ultimately earn a total of $8million for his services.
Fresh off the success of adventure comedy The Lost City that was a hit at the box office earlier this year, it was reported a week-and-a-half ago that he will be starring in the upcoming thriller.

Channing will star in the project based on an original pitch from Kinberg with Leitch directing, according to an article on Thursday, November 17 by Deadline.
Tatum also will be serving as a producer through his production company Free Association, while Leitch and Kelly McCormick will be producing under their 87 North production company and Kinberg producing through his Genre Films company.
At the time the film package already had received offers from several studios.

Tatum starred with Sandra Bullock, 58, in The Lost City that has earned more than $190 million at the worldwide box office since its release in March by Paramount Pictures.
He also was a co-director, co-producer and star of the comedy road drama Dog that has earned about $85 million worldwide since its release in February.
Tatum previously co-produced and starred in the 2012 comedy-drama Magic Mike that was loosely based on his experiences as an 18-year-old male stripper in Tampa, Florida.

He also co-produced and will star in the sequel Magic Mike’s Last Dance scheduled for release on February 10, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
A trailer released earlier this week for Magic Mike’s Last Dance showed Channing and co-star Salma Hayek, 56, sharing a steamy kiss.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance is a sequel to the 2015 film Magic Mike XXL.

Tatum has been in a relationship with actress Zoë Kravitz, 33, since 2021.
He has nine-year-old daughter Everly with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, 41.
Tatum earlier this year was named by Time magazine as one of the most 100 influential people in the world in 2022.
