Charles Bronson tells his wife to ‘f*** off’ in livid prison letter

Charles Bronson has told his wife he would ‘rather die in prison’ than live on the outside with her drinking problems in a furious letter

Britain’s most violent prisoner Charles Bronson has told his actress wife of eight months to ‘f*** off’ in a livid prison letter which accuses her of choosing alcohol over him.

The HMP Wakefield resident who married former Hollyoaks star Paula Williamson last year has hit out after pictures surfaced of her being intimate with men on a booze-fuelled night out.

In the furious rant, Bronson labelled her a ‘drunken tart’ and said: ‘Without booze I loved her. But she choose booze instead of me.’

The 65-year-old prison inmate has decided to call time on their eight-month marriage after photos of Paula showed a man burying his head in her cleavage.

The Sun reports Bronson wrote to a friend: ‘I don’t need a trouble and strife (wife). She never had a clue!

‘Without booze I loved her. But she choose booze instead of me.’

He added: ‘Life goes on. It stops for no man. Fun whilst it lasted. Now f*** off.’

Amateur artist Bronson, who rechristened himself Charles Salvador in honour of artist Salvador Dali, created a sketch to illustrate his distaste at his wife’s antics and claimed that ‘Drunks make my skin itch.’

The pair wed in HMP Wakefield in November but Bronson went berserk after seeing the pictures of Paula out partying earlier this month.

Paula, from Stoke, claimed she had dared a group of men to find out if her breasts were fake during a trip to a gay bar in Tenerife – which led to Connor Boyes, 26, of North London, putting his face on her chest.

Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women last week, Paula admitted that her actions had humiliated him.

She said: ‘He has said that I have humiliated him and he is a man of great pride – and I have humiliated him and myself.

‘I just forgot, I had had (alcohol) shots and was on holiday with my friends’.

In a separate letter earlier this week Bronson, 65, vowed to divorce the former Coronation Street actress, who he labelled a ‘drunken tart’ and accused her of disrespecting him.

The couple wed last November in HMP Wakefield, where Bronson is being held.

The amateur artist declares in a letter obtained by the Sun: ‘I would prefer to die in prison than live your alcaholic [sic] existance [sic].’

Bronson, who changed his name behind bars to Salvador, went on his tirade in a letter, which is dated July 18 and filled with doodles.

Bronson writes: ‘Ronnie Kray would say to you, ”You s**g!”

‘Paula: Keep on drinking, keep on showing yourself up, keep on disrespecting me, keep on pretending.

‘Do what you need to survive behind closed doors, not in a bar with six geezers and snogging on camera.’

He adds: ‘My life, my world, is a million miles away from yours. Your world stinks of falseness and drunken liars.

‘You need to reflect and look inside your own heart, coz all I see is a deep black hole.

‘My life is so much more at peace than yours.

‘I told you from day one ”never ever humiliate your man”.

‘You have a drug, drink problem, sort it out or do one.’

On another page, Bronson continues to insult his wife, telling her to ‘side with the Bethal Green geezer. Get fat and ugly together. Rats are best with rats.’

He adds: ‘You have to live – survive – if you are needing sex, do it behind closed doors (it’s a personal matter).

‘You don’t kiss nobody in a bar. Your (sic) Mrs Salvador… a respected lady.

‘Now your (sic) a drunken tart for the world to see.’

However, Bronson did admit his love for his wife, saying: ‘Without booze you are my angel – I worship you.

‘With booze I don’t love you. (I don’t like a drunk.)

‘You need to choose what you want. Your man! or booze! or drugs!

‘If I never see you again remember – I did idolise you.’

Although she initially believed he would laugh it off, Mrs Williamson said she has been left heartbroken after the notorious criminal, 65, called time on their marriage.

She told the Sun: ‘I’m absolutely devastated. I can’t stop crying. I made one stupid mistake. It was just a dare.

‘They took the snap and in that one second they ended my marriage.’

‘I feel like he has chewed me up and spat me out just like he did with the last woman who fell for him.’

Mrs Williamson added: ‘I have always stuck up for him. I’ve lost everything through this – my work, my family, my friends and my dignity.

‘Now, I’ve lost my husband.’

Bronson is one of the country’s most notorious prisoners and has spent the majority of the past four decades imprisoned for a series of violent crimes.

In recent years he has turned his hand to art and changed his surname from Bronson to Salvador in tribute to the Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali.

He first struck up a relationship with Miss Williamson – who also had roles in Emmerdale and Hollyoaks – back in 2013 after they started writing to one another.

Bronson has previously said he wants to have children with Miss Williamson, claiming he would be the ‘best dad in the world’.

He was first locked up for armed robbery in 1974, but during his time inside he has taken hostages in 10 prison sieges, attacked at least 20 prison officers and caused £500,000 in damage in rooftop protests.

Paula Williamson started exchanging letters with Bronson – dubbed Britain’s most violent prisoner – in 2013.

The continued writing while Bronson was engaged to his former partner Lorraine Etherington in 2015.

The former couple finally met for the first time in November 2016 when Williamson visited him in HMP Wakefield.

He proposed to her on Valentine’s Day 2017 by serenading her with a personalised version of the Frank Sinatra classic My Way from a prison pay phone.

They married in November last year and walked down the aisle to the Death March.

In April this year Williamson admitted they were facing problems in their marriage, which she said had been rocked by Bronson’s bad behaviour and bizarre demands.

She had reportedly been ordered by Bronson to stay slim by doing 400 sit ups a day as he told her ‘don’t get fat’.

Last week it emerged that Bronson was seeking a divorce after he felt ‘humiliated’ by pictures of his wife on a night out in Tenerife.

On a night out Williamson dared a man to put his face in her cleavage to check if her breasts were real, a moment captured on camera.
