When holidaying in Europe as a big group, it can often be much better value – and more fun – to get an Airbnb rather than a hotel.

But picking the city to travel to is usually the hardest part of booking a holiday.

Luckily, researchers looked at the average price per night for an Airbnb in 50 European cities to find out where has the cheapest – and most expensive – accommodation per night.

They found Warsaw in Poland is where you’ll get the most bang for your buck, with Airbnbs costing just over £65 (€74) per night.

Depending on the location and the time of your stay, some Airbnbs are available for less than €30 (£25.73) per night in the stag do hotspot.

In second place is Istanbul with the average price per night for an Airbnb being €76.25 (£66.76).

The capital of Slovakia completes the top three, as the average price per night for an Airbnb in Bratislavia costing just under £70 (€80).

When it comes to the most expensive European city for Airbnbs, the the team at OLBG found, unsurprising, that London was in the top three – although it wasn’t the dearest.
