The last time Arsenal travelled across London to face Chelsea and returned with a point without scoring was 12 years ago.
Back then Petr Cech was still a Blue, Cesc Fabregas was a Gunner and John Terry was still the darling of Stamford Bridge. In 2017 Cech and Fabregas have swapped sides and Terry watched from the stands having left the club.
In a testing game, where neither side gave an inch, David Luiz gave Arsenal some late impetus when he was sent off but chances were at a premium. Sportsmail’s SAMI MOKBEL provides his player ratings from Stamford Bridge.
