Chelsea and Barcelona are both waiting to discover whether UEFA will open disciplinary proceedings against them following the controversy of their Champions League clash.
Violence marred the meeting as video footage showed Chelsea supporters being hit by security staff with batons as they attempted to leave the Nou Camp.
Away fans also caused controversy as further footage emerged showing the English visitors singing ‘Barcelona, you’ll always be Spain’ and ‘Espanol’. It comes amid Catalonia’s bid for independence.

As of Thursday night, UEFA were compiling reports before deciding whether to open disciplinary charges against the two clubs.
Under the rules of European football’s governing body, the host club, in this case Barcelona, are responsible for security inside and outside the stadium.
Chelsea could also be in trouble if their fans are found to have chanted songs of a politically offensive nature.

A Chelsea spokesman said on their Twitter account: ‘We are aware of reports of incidents outside the ground before the game where a number of Chelsea fans were hurt.
‘We ask that our supporters contact us with accounts of their experiences of this evening’s arrival at the stadium so that we can take this up properly with the authorities.’
