Chelsea Clinton steps out in New York with Halloween hat

Hundreds of New Yorkers put together their best Halloween outfits yesterday, and Chelsea Clinton was no exception—even though it didn’t look like it at first glance.

Chelsea, 37, was spotted in New York City on Tuesday running errands, at one point pushing her youngest child, one-year-old son Aidan, in a stroller.

The mother of two donned what appeared to be a regular outfit, save for one detail which, upon closer inspection, turned out to be a nod to the special day.

On her outing, she had picked a pair of skinny black pants, paired with matching low boots allowing her to get around easily in the busy city.

Chelsea also donned a beige trench coat, keeping her warm amid the chilly autumnal temperatures.

She finished her outfit with a simple black top and a dark blue baseball hat, which appeared nondescript from afar.

However, the hat was in fact a Halloween accessory, with the words ‘This is my costume’ written across it in white letters.

Chelsea was seen crossing the streets in Midtown and running errands with Aidan.

Her other child with husband Marc Mezvinsky, three-year-old Charlotte, didn’t appear to have joined the outing.

Just a few days ago, Chelsea celebrated with her mother, Hillary Clinton, as the former presidential hopeful turned 70.

The party was a low-key event at the NoMad hotel, and Hillary spent ‘much of the evening with her arm around’ Chelsea, according to Page Six.
