Chelsea are interested in Romelu Lukaku and Erling Haaland as they look to strengthen their squad further following their Champions League success.

As reported by Sky Sports, the Blues are intent on improving their attacking options, with their former striker Lukaku among the options being considered.

Lukaku, who scored 30 goals in 44 games this season across all competitions, is likely to leave Inter Milan this summer, with the Italian side struggling financially.

It is anticipated that Lukaku, 28, who was at Chelsea between 2011 and 2014, would cost around £100million.

Haaland, meanwhile, is one of the most highly sought after players in world football, with the Borussia Dortmund star boasting a superb record of 57 goals in 59 appearances for the German side.

The 20-year-old has three years remaining on his contract at Dortmund, although he does have a release clause of £66m which comes into effect in the summer of 2022.

There are likely to be some significant departures with regards to attackers at Chelsea in order to make room for potential new signings.

Olivier Giroud, who was an unused substitute against Manchester City in the Champions League final, is likely to leave when his contract expires at the end of next month.

Tammy Abraham finished the season as Chelsea’s joint-top scorer with 12 goals but could also depart having been on the periphery of proceedings of late.

Timo Werner, who also scored 12 times, is set to still be part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad next season, although he may be faced with extra competition for places.
