Chelsea are interested in Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman as doubts emerge over the future of Christian Pulisic.
The Blues are long-term admirers of France international Coman and considered the attacker as a potential replacement for Callum Hudson-Odoi when the England international looked close to joining Bayern in 2019.
Hudson-Odoi remained in west London and the club shelved their interest, but Chelsea’s recruitment team have continued to keep close tabs on the 24-year-old and are poised to revisit their interest in the former Juventus man if Pulisic indicates he wants to leave.

United States international Pulisic has not started a game since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival
The United States international is yet to start a game under Thomas Tuchel and Sportsmail revealed earlier this week that a host of clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich would be interested in the forward if he was to become available.
Coman would be a prime candidate to replace Pulisic at Stamford Bridge. Intriguingly, the Frenchman – who scored the only goal and was named man of the match in last season’s Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain – has openly expressed a desire to play in England.
There will, however, be no shortage of takers for Coman if he is available this summer. Manchester United and Manchester City are also known to be long-term admirers.

Coman enters the final two years of his current deal at the end of the season. Bayern are keen to extend his contract – but if a deal is not reached then the German club may look at cashing in on their forward so not to allow his value to depreciate.
Coman despite his young age is already one of the most decorated footballers in Europe with 23 major titles to his name from his spells with PSG, Juventus and Bayern.
Indeed, his winning mentality is sure to be an appealing facet for clubs across the continent who are keen on Coman this summer.
