Chelsea star Wesley Fofana and his wife Cyrine Sabeur have unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted photos of the pair together from their respective pages, sparking fears of a potential crisis in their marriage.

The pair have been married since June 2022, tying the knot at the luxury Yacht Club De Monaco after publicly revealing they were in a relationship in an Instagram post a year previous.

Both were born in the Marseille region of France, with Cyrine two years older than her husband and forging a successful career within a consulting association.

Cyrine has been working as vice-president at Europe Etudes over the past four years, as per her LinkedIn and boasts a lavish lifestyle on her Instagram page.

However, this is not the first time the couple have had their marriage thrown into question after Cyrine temporarily made her page private last year.

She later returned her profile to public access amid reports previous difficulties had been ironed out, but the latest online activities suggests problems have arose again.

Both the Chelsea player and Cyrine have unfollowed each other on Instagram, with nothing showing when account names are typed into each followers list on the online platform.

The pair previously followed each other, but Cyrine’s following count has now dropped to 317 and Wesley’s at 285 after the action to unfollow was taken.

A bigger indication of problems arising in their marriage comes after both the Chelsea defender and his wife removed photos previously showing them together.

Cyrine had previously shared images of them boarding a private jet together while preparing to kiss on the steps of the plane, another image showed her being spoiled with roses and handbags on a former Valentine’s Day.
