Cher is part of a starry class of this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees — which were announced in April — that includes Ozzy Osbourne, Kool & The Gang, Dave Matthews Band, and A Tribe Called Quest among others.
She criticized her prior exclusion from the institution last December when she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
At the time, she vowed she wouldn’t accept the honor if she were inducted in the future, after more than three decades of snubs.
‘I’m not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!’ she told Clarkson. ‘You know what, I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars. I’m not kidding you.’
‘I’m never going to change my mind. They can just you-know-what themselves.’
She was originally eligible in 1991.
