And after three years away from the charts, Cheryl is said to have enlisted the help of super producer Naughty Boy for her big musical comeback, reports The Sun.
It was claimed the 34-year-old former Girls Aloud singer, who last released a single in 2014, approached the music guru, real name Shahid Khan, at one of Simon Cowell’s parties, with the pair soon agreeing to collaborate.

He told the website: ‘Cheryl spoke to me at one of Simon Cowell’s recent parties about doing something together and a future collaboration.
‘I have actually got a song written for her now so we will see what happens.’

Naughty Boy also backed Cheryl for a return to the X Factor saying : ‘I would love Cheryl back on X Factor but I also love Nicole Scherzinger. Can’t we have both of them?’

Earlier this month Cheryl heralded her return to the music scene and registered a new track called ‘That’s My Song’ online.
The star entrusted her pal Nicola Roberts to help her with the highly anticipated comeback, with the Girls Aloud bandmate being named one of the writers on the song.
The girlfriend of One Direction star Liam Payne, 24, teased fans earlier this month, confirming she had spent time in the studios with Nicola and Afrowaves stars Team Salut.
The star replied to the Afrobeat trio on Twitter after they thanked her for making their ‘year’ at their December recording session.

A source told The Sun Online: ‘Cheryl is back in the studio and music is her main priority for 2018.’
And Afrobeat – who have worked on tracks with the likes of Rita Ora, Emeli Sande and Yxng Bane in the past – wrote back: ‘Lol yh man was fun. Still dont know how you did it, or maybe it was the coffee @NicolaRoberts we gonna get your bongos for the next one (sic)’.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Nicola, 32, said of her time penning lyrics for her pal: ‘I’m writing for Cheryl, and also for myself, so hopefully those songs are good enough to make it out into the world.’
Cheryl spoke to ITV’s Lorraine back in October about her reasons why she took a music hiatus.
She said: ‘It has been so long, my fans are very patient. I am receiving songs and music and stuff a the moment.
