Cheryl reveals history of using sleeping pills

Cheryl has revealed she previously used sleeping pills after going to the doctors for help with ‘overthinking and undersleeping’.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Fight For This Lover, 38, continued to plug her collaboration with We Are Feel health products, this time encouraging followers to use natural sleep aid Feel Sleep and praising the benefit of the tablets.

She detailed her own struggles with sleep and explained that a combination of woes meant she sought help from doctors, yet she admitted many of the unnatural remedies left her ‘feeling groggy’ the next day.

‘My heart is heavy. Grief is such a harsh experience and an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. Questions without answers and pain without resolve. So tumultuous and constant.

‘With that said I am sorry but I really am not emotionally, mentally or physically able to perform for you this Saturday at Birmingham Pride.

‘I apologise wholeheartedly and I can only hope for your understanding… (I promise I will make it up to you somehow). I feel now I just need some time to sit with my feelings and process the grief. Nothing prepares you for this bit.’
